Suck it up!

That's what the world keeps telling me.

That's what Una kept telling me.

Every time I cry out in my pain, that's what I get told.

It's as if I'm not allowed to vocalize my suffering.

Not allowed to express my sorrow.

So, am I really just being a little bitch and not toughening up?

There are none who have suffered to my extent - not even Una.

She has not known true loneliness for long.

Before her, there was no one who would even give me so much as a sideways glance.

She cannot feel the torture on a daily basis.

I do.

She has not been forced to be silent.

Before this blog, I had no outlet where I could be free enough to say all of this.

So, for everyone to tell me to "stop bellyaching" feels like adding insult
to injury.

After all I've done.

After all I've suffered.

Can't you just have the decency to let me cry in peace?

Without judging or condescending?

Is that really too much to ask?

Apparently it is - both from the world, and from Una.
