I know most of my posts so far have focused on my suffering, and I'm damn well content to keep going on that track because that's all there is for me in this existence, but I just need to try being happy.
So let's make a list of awesome things I love, that add some measure of happiness into my life!
Clouds. I fucking love clouds. I really do. I like the bright and puffy looking ones, and the ones that look straight out of some renaissance painting of Mount Olympus....but the ones I really love are big, stormy clouds, or cloud walls that just cover the sky. Honestly, the less clear the skies, the happier I am.
I love the wind - and it loves me. Without it, I feel drained of energy and motive to carry on...but when there's a breeze I can keep going, no matter what. When I call, it rushes to me and we hold each other for a short, blissful embrace, happy with each others' existence. It's never a command, only a beckoning of love...and it responds in kind.
Music. I cannot live without music. As you may have noticed, I put a song at the end of every post - I find its just more free to express my feelings in ways far more than my words can. Someone once said "Music is what feeling sounds like." - they were right. I think in our true state of existence, we communicate in a far more musical and telepathic way - perhaps even without forming words, or only using words when we want. I love a lot of genres, from Soundtracks to Metal to Chiptunes to Trance to Classical to Dubstep. There aren't many genres I don't care for, that don't inspire me or make me feel anything. When a song is playing, reality becomes enhanced and for a moment I feel like I am my full self again. I feel like I can see past all the confusion, and that even hell itself can be beautiful in a way.
Globus - Europa
Scapes - whether they be landscapes, skyscapes, cityscapes, oceanscapes....I love to see things exist freely, as they choose to. While people may build the cities in accordance with laws, regulations, urban plotting and architectural design, the cities themselves grow on their own just like nature does. And it's beautiful. And when two or more blend in together, then it just leaves my heart blown away and aching at the sight. I guess that's why I love universities - nature and architecture combined in a very artistic and fluent way.
I love animals of every kind (except Spiders! Ugggghhhhhhhh >.<) - dogs, cats, horses, birds, bats, foxes, raccoons, mice, octupi....I love 'em all. Each one is so beautiful in it's own respective way - each one so noble and majestic, and yet so adorable and full of love at the same time.
And, of course, I absolutely, totally and absolutely love Sex. Who doesn't? But for me, it's a lot more than just a biological impulse - for me, it's the ultimate expression of love and unity. The most positive of energies flow in the strongest and loveliest ways during sex, and it's the most fulfilling and satisfying of all experiences. And for me, an intersex-souled pansexual, there's not many limits to what I won't sleep with. As long as I find him, her, hir, etc attractive, I'll gladly go to bed with them. And I'm not just limited to humans in my attraction, either - as an immortal who used to travel much and mingle with several different beings of several different races, often becoming one of them for a time, I found love everywhere and in every way possible. My quest for love was even chronicled in your mythology (my time with Svaưilfari was just one example) - so apparently I'm known for being in love with love.
Did I mention I really love Sex? :3
Anyways, moving on before I start posting a bunch of porn and having to add the adult content filter...
If you read in my earlier posts, you know that I have wings - sometimes two, sometimes six. And since I already said I loved clouds and wind, the next one on my list of things I love is easy. I love to fly. I just feel so free when I'm flying that all my cares and worries, all my pains and sorrows just disappear. Unfortunately, I can't fly in here, and can only fly in a third-person perspective in the second layer. But when I get out of here, I will fly free once again. :)
Daft Punk - Aerodynamic
I love fantasy and science fiction in all forms: Books, Movies, Video Games (yes, I am a gamer), Art - if it evokes feelings of an existence beyond this mundane life, it's beautiful. Extra points if it's subconsciously based off of my existence (as a lot of the really good ones are - some are downright biographical). I also love anime - if I had to choose a favorite, it would be Yu-Gi-Oh! (the original series).. Yu-Gi-Oh just had an amazing storyline, breathtaking art style, unforgettable characters (and best of all - all the guys were incredibly sexy! Well, except for Bones...and Bandit Keith...and Gozaburo...but you get the idea! all the main males were hot :3), and one of the best soundtracks I've ever heard. It was just beautiful.
YuGiOh! - Best anime ever!
This next one is a guilty pleasure for me - not because I overdo and abuse it, but because of the connotation of what is required to make it exist. I love food. I do - I relish every time I get to eat, and there's not much I won't eat. I looooove Chinese more than anything else - egg rolls, sushi, rangoons, water chestnuts, sesame chicken, bamboo sprouts - if it's Chinese, there's a good chance I'll love it!
I just wish that things didn't have to die so I could eat. I'd forgo this one pleasure if I could simply because things have to die so I could eat. But unfortunately for me, I'm stuck in a physical body that requires sustenance. I wish things didn't have to die to continue my existence here... :(
And here I go being a downer again.
I'll just stop here while I'm still feeling positive. :)
